Wristbands: $5. Buying a wristband proves you’re old enough to walk around with a beer and is how Strut makes money to pay for itself and donate to local nonprofits. You will not be able to carry around alcohol without a wristband. Check the map for wristband sales locations.

Parade: 2PM. Line up on Patterson Ave.

Special Activities: Sacred Thread Yoga leads an outdoor yoga class to kick off the Strut – Meet at 11:30 a.m. in front of their studio at 465 Flat Shoals Avenue. Permaculture Area featuring Save Ormewood Forest. Help make decorations for #FreeArtFriday.

Kids Area: The Kids Village is open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and has giant board games & fun for all ages.

Feats (Games): Mechanical Bull, Adult Big Wheels, Giant Battleship + More (some paid games).

Street Market: 70+ artists and a new vintage section. Artists, sponsors and community organizations should receive their load-in instructions by 9/15. If you did not, please email eavstrutartists@gmail.com.

Pets: Due to large crowds, please leave non-service animals at home.

Parking: Please use public transportation or rideshare whenever possible or ride your bike! Free bike corral at the East Atlanta Farmers Market lot on Flat Shoals from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Some street parking will be available outside of the festival footprint. Please follow all parking rules & do not block driveways or you will be towed. For GPS, use 520 Flat Shoals AVE Atlanta, GA 30316.

Food & Drink: Food trucks and beer will be available in several locations around the Village. Other bars and restaurants will also be serving food & alcohol, though may have limited menus due to crowd size.

Murals: Chastain Clark brings us a mural on the back of the Flatiron’s second floor and R. Land, who designed the wonderful Strut T-shirt, has been working with East Atlanta Kids Club to produce a mural on the side of Grant Central Pizza at Glenwood and Gresham.

Inclement Weather: The Strut is an outdoor festival & happens rain or shine, so dress accordingly for the weather. There are several local bars & restaurants where you can wait out bad weather.
